China Opens New £13.5bn Mega-Airport In Beijing That Has The World's Biggest Terminal (pictures)

China opens new £13.5bn mega air terminal in Beijing that has 'the world's greatest terminal', four runways and is intended to deal with 72million travelers every year. 

Chinese president Xi Jinping has directed the introduction of a second universal air terminal for Beijing with a terminal charged as the world's greatest. 

Beijing Daxing International Airport, worked in under five years for 120 billion yuan (£13.5 billion/$16.8 billion), is intended to deal with 72 million travelers per year. 

The aircraft's first business flight, a China Southern Airlines plane destined for the southern territory of Guangdong, took off on Wednesday evening, state supporter CCTV detailed.
