National Council for Arts and Culture lodges complaint with NBC about sex in #BBNaija

The Federal Government, through the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) has held up a protest with the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) against the continuous Big Brother Naija unscripted TV drama. 

As indicated by Punch, Otunba Segun Runsewe, the Director-General of NCAC revealed this when visited by the President of the National Council of Women Societies, Dr Gloria Shoda. 

Runsewe said there are plans for the dispatch of an elective unscripted TV drama where the genuine Nigerian culture will be appeared, Nigerian nourishment will be eaten and Nigerian outfits worn. 

It is additionally expected that the NCAC will re-present the 2008 Nudity Bill titled "A Bill for an Act to rebuff and deny nakedness, sexual terrorizing and other-related offenses in Nigeria" supported by the previous director, Senate Committee on Women and Youth, Eme Ekaette. 

Runsewe stated: 

We will speak to that charge You can't face a conflict without a lawful structure; we are certainly going to be aware of that". 
I will take up the issue of Big Brother Naija; I have spoken with authorities of the National Broadcasting Commission since what is happening currently is horrendous. Having relationships on screen isn't our very own piece culture by any stretch of the imagination.

We are doing BBN that will mirror the genuine Nigerian culture.
