FIFA Team Inspect Ogbe Stadium, Others For U-20 Women’s World Cup

The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) investigation group as of late looked at offices for the facilitating of the 2020 version of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Edo State. 

The FIFA investigation group, which included Christopher Exley, Sara Jane Booth, Kliment Taseki, Rhiannon Ceirwen Martin and Heyral Kaj Jurgen, were led round offices in Benin City, Edo State capital. 

Offices visited incorporate Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, practice pitches at Western Boys High School, among others. 

They were joined on the visit by Nigeria's offered facilitator, Mallam Mainasara Ilo and authorities of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) including its President, Amaju Pinnick, Aisha Falode, leader of the Women's Football League, and Ruth David, leader of Women's football at the alliance. 

The group communicated fulfillment at the condition of offices visited and later visited the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, who guaranteed them that the state is fit for facilitating the World Cup. 

"We are glad to invite you to our state and we guarantee you that we will have as well as that we have the stuff to do as such. Here in Edo, we have a convention of magnificence in Sports going back to the production of this state. This will be on full presentation if Nigeria gets the chance to have the competition," Governor Obaseki said. 

The Governor included that the 2020 World Cup was concurring with the 2020 National Sports Festival, which Edo State would have. He said some time before the choice by FIFA to examine offices in the express, his organization had started the development of offices and the repairing of existing ones for the games.
